The Chaplain is a member of the healthcare team who provides for the spiritual needs of residents, patients, families and staff during office hours and on an "as needed" basis. Specifically, the Chaplain assists residents, patients and families to understand more fully life's events as they relate to their spiritual, emotional well-being and end of life care.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
1 hour cpe preferred , willing to provide/train right candidate.
Has theological background and training, and displays skills and competencies in pastoral care. General hospital orientation and meet basic employee requirements. Orientation to hospital ministry and Pastoral Care Department
