Agtegra Cooperative Location - Manager (Aberdeen-Grebner) in Aberdeen, South Dakota

Agtegra Cooperative is looking to fill a Location Manager position at our Grebner location located in Aberdeen, SD.Position Summary:Manages full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees of the location. Carries out supervisory functions in accordance with Agtegra policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and mentoring; performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicates and promotes grain marketing products, services, and programs that meet customer's needs.Coordinates distribution, maintaining quality, and sales in accordance with Agtegra policies, principles, and procedures on grain commodities.Communicate and hold weekly scheduled meetings with grain department regarding various marketing programs and operational logistics.Directs employees in all aspects of operation including unloading, loading, and sales of grain commodities.Develops best efficiency practices for our products, machines, and employees.Works in conjunction with grain merchandisers to plan and direct grain grain sales program that fall within Agtegra's policies and mission statement.Creates an annual business plan that will help forecast the upcoming year's balance sheet.Understands, complies with, and enforces Agtegra Credit Policy.Operates facility under EPA, OSHA, and Department of Agriculture laws, regulations, and guidelines.Responsible for maintaining a profitable location through expense management, revenue maximization, and risk management.Conducts annual formal performance reviews with full-time employees.Manages staffing levels for the location and hires appropriately while placing candidates in positions of best fit.Makes on-farm calls and deliveries to solidify customer relationships.Acts as a mentor to all full-time staff and interns while helping them progress as employees and individuals.Utilize forecasts and software programs while relying on experience to help leverage inventory control.Build and grow the team through continuous improvement efforts.Additional responsibilities as directed by upper-management, may include participating in meetings, training, recruiting, community relations, or committees.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Health Insurance, Vision/Dental Insurance, 401k, Clothing Allowance, PTO, Holidays, and MORE!
