The Instructional Services Recruiter recruits qualified applicants to fill teacher positions at K-12 education institutions. The teachers’ primarily provide educational instruction in accordance with state and federal guidelines. To successfully recruit and hire, this position produces recruiting strategies in collaboration with Sales, prepares advertisements and conducts recruiting campaigns, interviews, recommends and hires candidates to fill open positions. The Instructional Services Recruiter must stay abreast of industry trends and comply with all applicable laws related to recruiting/hiring concepts, practices and procedures. Collaborate, build and maintain a positive working environment with internal Corporate Recruiting.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop, continually evaluate, and coordinate effective teacher recruitment strategies and efforts.

  2. Collaborate with the Corporate Recruiting Team and FACTS Ed to execute a strategy to ensure fulfillment of requested teacher positions.

  3. Conduct initial interviews, consult with colleagues, recommend individuals for hire, and extend offers of employment.

  4. Ensure company, state and federal polices/ laws are followed.

  5. Assist with the on-boarding of new associates.

  6. Provide timely and accurate executive reports on vacant and filled potions.

  7. Work closely with all areas of FACTS Education Solutions to ensure the accurate and timely filling of positions.

  8. Coordinate the transfer of information to Nelnet Corporate People Services.

EDUCATION:

College degree or commensurate experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Minimum of 1 – 3 years of professional recruiting experience.

  2. Experience with volume recruiting preferred.

  4. Aptitude to work with business leaders within FACTS Ed Solutions.

  6. Excellent time management and organization skills.

  7. Strong initiative and ability to exercise independent judgment.

  8. Flexible, team player who is a self-starter and self-motivated.

  9. Basic knowledge of employment law and statutes.

  10. Good negotiation and persuasion skills.

  11. Advanced PC skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
