Avera SPEECH PATHOLOGIST in Aberdeen, South Dakota
To provide evaluation and treatment services for speech, language, cognition, feeding and swallowing for infant through geriatric populations as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.
Masters degree from an accredited college or university Speech-Language Pathology program.
Previous exposure to diagnostic and treatment for infant through geriatric population preferred.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA in Speech-Language Pathology or presently engaged in supervised clinical fellowship year to fulfill this requirement.
A valid driver's license and travel may be required, as determined by the Department Director.
