Lippert Components, Inc Assembly Operator I - $14.50, 1st Shift in Brandon, South Dakota
Job Description Summary:This position will perform repetitive bench or line assembly and packaging operations to mass-produce products. This position will be able to place parts in specified relationship to each other. This position will have the ability to fasten parts together with bolts, clips, screws, and cement. This position will report to the Operations Supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Assembly Operator I will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Will attend machines, such as air guns or crimping machine, to perform force fitting or fastening operations
The ability to work at different work stations as production needs require
Assemble and package according to the bill of material or product structure to insure that all parts, installation instructions, etc. are included in the package
Up keep and maintenance of equipment assigned and personal equipment issued (tools, gloves, and aprons)
Correct reporting of all parts produced on daily time card and on work orders issued for production
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Work Experience: No experience is needed
Education: High School Diploma
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary
Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space

Communication Skills: Ability to communicate within a team setting
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to walk, stand, sit, push, pull, reach above shoulders, fine repetitive motion, bend, stoop, climb ladder, ability to lift 40 pounds continuously for long periods of time up to 8 hours per day
Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment
