Located in our Brandon, SD office, Gates is seeking a Business Assistant.The Business Assistant Position will support the front desk/telephone/visitor entry in addition will be a resource to plant manager and staff managers to support completion of necessary reporting. Will work closely with AR/AP and shipping to meet requirements.Key responsibilities (to name a few):Performs general administrative duties for the Plant Manager and Facility Managers and all confidential administrative assignments for staff managersSupports a portion of the AP/AR shipping functionMaintains confidential records, processes documentation for plant salary administration including performance rating, review, and salary actionsPulse points affected by the responsibilities of the position include customer satisfaction, plant financial performance and competitive position in the marketplace.Screens, refers or responds to telephone inquiries and visitorsABOUT YOU High School with 5 years general, 2 years specific experience; or 2 years college (Associates Degree) with 1 year specific experienceExcellent communication skills both verbal and written.Tact and diplomacy in handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls for facility and also dealing with other staff managers.Setting up appointments and schedules to coincide with other activities as needed for facility.General understanding of accounting principles and efficiency with a calculator and computer.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.WHY GATES?Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
