POSITION SUMMARY -iVerifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/CERTIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:iHigh School Diploma or GED; and 0-1 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.iiRequired Certification and/or Licensure:Valid driver's license and capable of being covered under companyiinsurance.Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.iPOSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPrepares and ships:Determine labeling requirements including but not limited to:i Assemble and pack product containers, preparing and attach shipping labels on packed containers.Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against the bill of lading, invoices, or orders.Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments, reject damaged items, document shortages, and communicate with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.iDelivers product to customersMust be able to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job.iiPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job you would beirequired to:Frequent:Sitting and WalkingOccasional:Forward bending, Squatting, Overhead reaching, Kneeling/Crawling, and Climbing.Constant: StandingLifting 50# - Floor to waist then back to the floorLifting 50# - Waist to chestLift and Carry 50# - Floor to waist 10 Ft., then to floorPush/Pull 50 #Have moderate level of hand to eye coordination and dexterity including (picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and repetitive flexion/rotation.iWORK ENVIRONMENTThe noise level is usually loud.There is occasional exposure to dust, fumes, odors and chemicals.Works in hot/cold temperatures and rain/snow.Can work alone and/or with others.Works around objects that can be very sharp.This job description is as complete as possible; however, in no way should it be implied that these are the only duties and responsibilities that you will be required to perform.Other job tasks may be assigned to you when they are necessary to meet the needs of Counterpart, Inc.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
