Daktronics Training Team Student in brookings, South Dakota
Every day, in nearly 100 countries around the world, millions of people depend on Daktronics scoring and display systems for information and entertainment. Our displays provide vital travel information in airports and train stations and along highways. They advertise the price of gas, store specials, and more as you make your daily commute. They also enhance spectators’ experiences at sporting events of all kinds, from Little League to the major leagues.
Position located in Brookings, South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a full-time student. Ideal candidate should be available to work approximately 15-20 hours/week during the academic year and at least 20 hours per week during the summer.

Training students will gain experience:
Communicating professionally via email/IM/telephone
Working in Microsoft Office products, Quickbase, Adobe Connect, Camtasia and Daktronics proprietary software.
Following procedures and making recommendations for improvements
Managing small projects
Customer interaction including social media, web based trainings and in person workshops.
Ideal candidate must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas: Business, Computer Science, Consumer Affairs, Economics, Graphic Design, Education, Marketing, Broadcast Production or other related degree, in their sophmore, junior or senior year of school. Only strong performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered.
Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and promptly with group members on interactions with customers, project status, and accomplishments.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Be able to regularly and reliably work scheduled hours and maintain good attendance.
Follow company guidelines and policies.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Willingness to learn Daktronics systems and computer software

Fluent in English, both written and verbal
