Tech Ord Machine Operator in CLEAR LAKE, South Dakota

Job Summary: the Machine Operator will operate and make minor adjustments to machinery and/or equipment by following all instructions and safety rules. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Operate machinery and/or equipment to produce quality parts per customer specifications. Perform assembly, sealing and/or inspection of parts.Able to read and interpret procedures, drawings and calibrated equipment.Complete accurate documentation and record keeping on operator logs.Maintain a neat and orderly work area.Able to communicate issues clearly and competently.Comply with company safety standards and rules.Maintain a good attendance record.Be responsible and maintain a level of versatility and flexibility. Inform Machine Maintenance group of any needed machine repairs or concerns. May assist Machine Maintenance with minor machine changeover tasks. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:Permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions)Must be eligible to possess explosive under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord.High School diploma or Equivalent (GED); experience in a production environment desired.Communicate and document effectively in English.Performs other work-related duties as assigned.Ability to work with peers and supervisor employees as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
