Job Information Digital Media Salesperson-Custer in Custer, South Dakota

Digital media salesperson, also called advertising sales representatives, sells sponsorship space to businesses in area towns for the network. sets up schools and organizations for live web casting of school activities throughout the school year. Costs of equipment etc is paid for by sponsorships of businesses. These sponsors will be displayed on home pages of area schools on the network. Sales representative will contact potential clients, make sales presentations, and maintain client accounts. Must have excellent communication and people skills. Must maintain a valid drivers license. Must be willing to travel to area towns. Basic computer skills are a requirement. Minimum of three years sales experience needed.Duties include but not limited to the following:Locate and contact potential sponsors to offer the different sales packages offered by LiveTicket.tvExplain to sponsors the different levels of sponsorships and what amenities apply to each level and what their business or organization will receive in return as a potential sponsor. Media salesperson will help promote packages in the most effective wayPresent all sales packages in a professional manner including costs of advertising products or servicesProcess all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts.Digital media salesperson will work with clients and prospective clients at their places of business.Some evening hours may be required if appointment with potential sponsor must be set up after regular business hours. Sales agents may make telephone sales calls as well-calling prospects, set up appointment times and arranging follow up appointments with interested prospects. If a sponsor wishes to proceed, the advertising sales agent prepares all necessary paper work including payment information and must get detailed information from the sponsor on how they would like their ad to look including designs and wording. Agents also may continue to help and work with the sponsors by answering questions or addressing any problems that may arise in the future. Sales person must be detail oriented.Advertising sales agent will be responsible for turning in all required paper work, ad information and payment information to the sales manager in a timely fashion. When meeting with a potential sponsor, if at any time the digital media salesperson has a question he or she can not answer, they will contact the sales manager or general manager if the sales manager is not available.***Wage is commission with a guarantee of $8.85 per hour***
