The Compliance Analyst will maintain regulatory compliance by researching and communicating requirements to inquiries from both internal and external sources. The position requires the analyst to perform assigned audits to ensure regulatory and compliance guidelines are met. This position requires timely and effective communication with management as needed and frequent communication with the clients as needed to ensure a trusting relationship is established and kept.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:30% Perform compliance audits for all servicing clients with a focus on identifying the root causes and solutions.
30% Identify risks, gaps, or other needs to modify procedures to meet compliance regulations. Create solutions for implementation, and coordinate with QA Directors and Managers to implement procedures.
10% Conduct annual compliance training for LSPD resulting in increased knowledge and adherence within the division.
10% Provide support to clients during their internal or external audits including research and communication.
10% Provide support to clients through communication and follow-up on initiatives and servicing issues.
5% As assigned, assist in projects or tasks impacting compliance.
5% Other duties as assigned.Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):
5 years + experience in work related to the insurance industry and/or compliance in the mortgage servicing industry.
Experienced and continued training in Federal flood regulations, CFPB, Etc. Compliance and Regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Teamwork Skills – Work with the team to meet department goals. Professional interaction with employees and peers.
Customer Service Skills – use of clear, concise and effective oral communication; accurately composes written materials as required by the position. Handle confidential information in a responsible matter. Ability to convey thoughts in a focused and concrete manner.
Effectively and professionally present information for training as needed.
