SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver service and support in the areas of energy conservation & sustainability including water resources to achieve Tyson Fresh Meats financial, business and operational objectives as established with senior management. Other responsibilities include: Maintain a safe work environment and foster culture of safety for all team members; achieve Tyson Fresh Meats energy conservation financial objectives; develop and provide operational performance data and reporting; provide engineered solutions to reduce energy consumption and promote best practices; provide operational training for system equipment energy efficiency, explore and implement various resource reduction techniques/installations for water, gas, electric; and assist in coordination and indirect management of operational and maintenance activities. Work with external sustainability experts to determine feasibility of various new technologies and techniques.
Education: B.S. or Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of 8+ years' experience preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills: Knowledge and use of computer programs, spreadsheet, database and scheduling programs. Microsoft & SAP exposure preferred.
Travel: up to 20%.
