Tyson Foods Training Specialist (Plant Orientation) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota
SUMMARY: This position will be primarily responsible for the Diversity and Inclusion of all Team Members by coordinating, implementing and supporting the Plant Orientation Training Program. This position will also be an entry level position supporting one or two FM plant training needs, to include plant visits, provide best practice suggestions and coach fellow Team Members. This will also include the Alchemy system initiatives between Tyson and Alchemy. This will be done byinteracting regularly with all Fresh Meats facilities, to include all Plant Management and Hourly Team Members, specifically with the Plant Training Coordinators, Orientation Trainers, and many Shared Service Departments within the plant facilities and with the Dakota Dunes office. This position will also provide support, as needed, on the implementation and initial deliverance of assigned training programs; discover and create better tracking reports to better communicate the influences training impacts; facilitate various training programs at the facilities, Dakota Dunes corporate office or as otherwise assigned. This Team Member must demonstrate excellent Leadership skills to measure the success and effectiveness of the orientation training program in the plants. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience in an academic field directly related to the field and essential to the job. Experience: Prior training and/or facilitating experience preferred. Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Power Point, Word, Excel, Publisher. Alchemy, SAP experience preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; great public speaking and facilitation skills. Special Skills: Certification in Achieve-Forum, Franklin Covey or the ability to become certified; ability to interact well with all levels of Team Members. Travel: 50-60%.
