Job Summary:
Perform general nursing care to patients including administration of medications and treatments in accordance with the nursing standards and coordinates patient care activities in the clinic.
Perform nursing assessment and evaluation of patients and documents information.
Provide continuity of care through verbal and written communication.
Oversee appointment booking and maintain timely flow of patient appointments.
Maintain and review patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
Obtain pre-authorizations needed for patients. Make appropriate referrals to other providers.
Education and Licensure:
- Graduate from an accredited LPN school of nursing with license to practice in the state of South Dakota.
