Navigant Business Process Management (BPM) unites the strengths of four category-leading companies to address the complexities of today’s healthcare system. This position will be overseeing offices in Mitchell, SD; Vermillion, SD & Plankinton, SD.

The Vice President of Operations in Physician Revenue Cycle PFS and is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the efficiency and effectiveness of the patient financial services operations’ as well as all other customer services centralized in our processing centers. In addition, this position will work closely with leadership within Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, HIM and Consulting Services to provide new and emerging approaches to our clients’ business processes.

Essential Job Functions

  • Promotes a service-oriented culture and assure satisfaction with the quality and amount of support provided for functions, initiatives and projects

  • Continually seek ways and means for improving the delivery and support of revenue cycle activities and programs

  • Assure that all systems incorporate the principles of total and continuous quality improvement while exceeding the expectations of the customers

  • Collaboration at all levels within Navigant and Navigant BPM to ensure teamwork and overall business success.

  • Assure satisfaction among customer groups with the quality and amount of support provided by monitoring and responding appropriately to outcomes and feedback

  • Understand the job functions of all Revenue Cycle staff, is aware of process flow across organization, and involves them, as appropriate, when recommended actions may impact their work functions

  • Hires a high performing team, assures ongoing training, coaching and mentoring

  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding Key Performance Indicators on a monthly basis

  • Assures that annual revenue and profit goals for his/her region are met or exceeded

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a continual assessment of customer needs and potential solutions available through Navigant BPM

  • Responsible for internal quality and performance monitoring to ensure that customer expectations are being achieved

  • Maintaining local employee satisfaction and retention

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of Revenue Cycle/Healthcare and or Technology or the equivalent in work experience

  • 10+ years of experience in the Revenue Cycle field or in a related area

  • Proficiency in Excel is required; ability to utilize and learn technology solutions is preferred

  • Effective motivator and strong communication skills to interact with clients and employees

  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong monitoring, analysis and troubleshooting skills

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

  • Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location

  • Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data

  • Generally works in an office environment
