The highly trained staff at EnviroVantage is looking to add to our team as we continue to grow.Reports to:Safety DirectorJOB DESCRIPTIONEssential FunctionsProvide site compliance through daily site inspections and safety reportsEnforce the Accident Prevention PlanProvide on-site safety education in English and SpanishCoordination of safety issues with QA/QC manager and site superintendentProvide management and oversight of site-specific safety activities. Examples: crane lift plan, abatement, control of hazardous energyDemonstrate in depth knowledge of EM-385-1.1, OSHA 29CFR1910 and 1926Conduct incident investigations for root cause analysisProvide safety orientations when necessaryMaintain SDS listOther functions as necessaryRead, analyze and interpret drawings, blueprints and project documents.Ability to adhere to all OSHA; EPA; as well as other federal agency, state and company hazardous materials laws and policies.Be a strong team leader/player with a positive attitude who is hard working and motivated every daySUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITYThe site safety manager is responsible for managing, implementing and enforcing the project APP.
