ICF is seeking an Account Manager to support Entergy Services, Inc.’s Electric Technology (eTech) Program, through sales activities, account management, and field/technical services. Entergy’s eTech Program promotes the adoption of electric-powered equipment by Entergy’s electric customers to help support revenue and load growth with the utility while decreasing emissions for all customers. The position will require significant, daily, travel to meet with targeted commercial and industrial customers. The position will be responsible for collaborating with other regional account managers, executing a regional sales plan, identifying opportunities for conversion to electric-powered technologies, working with commercial and industrial end-users, and equipment dealers to explain the costs and benefits of electrification, facilitating the process of conversion, assisting with application processing, and performing inspections of work completed.
Sales and/or technical expertise with one or more of the following electric-technologies is preferred: Electric Vehicles, Fleet Electrification, Forklifts, Truck Refrigeration Units, Cranes, Shore Power - Marine/Port Equipment, Airport Ground Support Equipment, Industrial Batteries/Charging Infrastructure, and other Industrial Equipment.
Compensation is salary based with an additional bonus structure in place to reward high performance. Mileage and expense reimbursement provided.
Building and maintaining relationships with the commercial and industrial community including:
Technology end-users and customers
Equipment dealers, retailers and other trade allies
Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with Entergy customers daily
Promoting program offerings
Closing sales and meeting conversions goals to achieve business performance expectations
Calculate financial savings potential of conversion opportunities
Write and present summary reports of consultation visits
Log outreach and meeting activities in program trackers
Maintaining strong ongoing communications with participants in order to assess their needs and to receive feedback on their experience with the program
Coordinating with or follow up on program Quality Assurance activities such as field inspections and customer surveys, as appropriate
Ensuring high customer satisfaction with the program
To be successful you must have:
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong outreach and communications abilities.
Sales experience or other relevant experience and the initiative to embrace continuous learning toward becoming an expert on the programs and technologies you represent.
5+ years of experience with equipment sales or consulting, ideally with technical, engineering, or energy expertise
Demonstrated capabilities in building and maintaining relationships with key market actors in the commercial and industrial sectors
Ability to influence customer decisions through presentation of electrification benefits
Computer experience, with strong proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), and experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in the Sciences, Engineering, or Business related subject). Experience may be evaluated in lieu of education qualification.
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong outreach and communications abilities
Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
Preferred Skills/Experience :
Knowledge of electric-technology equipment or experience in engineering
Knowledge of electric utility distribution infrastructure
Extensive Business-to-business sales or recruitment experience
Direct experience in agricultural, commercial and/or industrial equipment sales
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to work with all levels of staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude
Ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
