The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Coordinator provides anesthesia care for assigned patients and is responsible for assigning and coordinating patient care for all anesthesia patients in the department.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in such a way as to demonstrate and support the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera co-sponsorship values of hospitality, compassion and stewardship.
Provides care/service in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies standards and Catholic Ethical and Religious Directives.
Provides leadership and direction to department staff in coordination of patient care and delegation of activities to CRNAs, RNs, and other health care team members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a program of nurse anesthesia education accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Prefer 2 years related appropriate experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have current RN licensure in the state of SD or “multi-state privilege” to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD. Current CRNA licensure in the state of SD. Current CPR certification or completion upon next available program. ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
