Job Description Summary

This individual is recognized as a senior level expert in a minimum of six of the following areas: Travelers' Product lines . Multiple Business Unit Strategies . Travelers' Business/Enterprise processes . Travelers' applications/systems . Multiple rating/pricing methodologies and tools . Development of workflow methodology and processes . Represent Business Units in all phases of Enterprise initiatives . Knowledge of underwriting coverages and processes/procedures . In addition: Manage relationship between Business Partners and multiple Shared Services Suites . Actively participates in business unit leadership meetings and conferences . Negotiate and resolve conflicting priorities across Business Unit leadership. Responsibility for managing/assigning work.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

Market / Line of Business Expertise:

  • Assume leadership position in addressing coverage and rate questions.

  • Resolve complex issues related to procedures, workflow and production questions.

  • Manage workflow and procedures to insure consistency across the Enterprise.

  • Expert knowledge of Auto product line.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple Business Unit Strategies.

  • Broad knowledge of Travelers Business/Enterprise processes.

  • Broad knowledge of Travelers applications/systems.

  • Expanded knowledge of multiple rating/pricing methodologies and tools.

  • Development of workflow methodology and processes.

  • Represent Business Units in all phases of Enterprise initiatives.

  • Knowledge of underwriting coverages and processes/procedures.

Relationship Management:

  • Manage relationship between Business Partners and multiple Shared Services Suites.

  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships.

Managing/Mentoring/Developing People:

  • Serves as mentor to other FSA's for multiple lines of business and markets.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years insurance or related industry experience.

Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge

  • BS or BA degree or blend of education and equivalent experience.

  • Previous experience directing work of team members.

  • Small Commercial knowledge preferred

  • Working knowledge of Production Systems and Applications.
