Masco Corporation Pricing Strategy & Analytics Manager in Pierre, South Dakota

Job Description

Are you interested in advancing traditional processes using analytics? We are intersecting digital technology and increasing data availability to modernize our pricing strategy, tools, and processes. This is an opportunity to lead pricing strategy and implementation for an innovative organization.

Using sophisticated approaches, the role will implement recommendations on pricing strategy, price optimization, promotions, policies and tactics. You will also lead a small team of pricing analysts who will create tools, processes, analysis, and reporting for decision making.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Insights and Analytics, you will accompany a team of research and domain specialists to deploy advanced methods to improve business results.

Responsibilities:

We expect this leader to be constantly curious and a self starter as we evolve our approach to meet omnichannel consumer and customer needs. You will collaborate across teams to build pricing strategies and practices to deliver value. You will also:

  • Implement price waterfall analysis and target price metrics by product lines / customers

  • Develop tools and processes to operationalize the pricing strategy, this will include piloting new methods/tools through targeted experimentation

  • Guide market research projects to advise process and tool development

  • Develop and monitor business outcome measures for pricing recommendations and decisions

  • Architect foundational toolsets for pricing practitioners

  • Champion data infrastructure improvements and tooling/software required for team success

Education & Experience:

We are seeking an analytically inclined professional with pricing experience who possesses:

  • Solid understanding of pricing theories & their business application

  • Proven track record using analytical approaches in pricing decisions

  • Experience communicating across technical & business audiences

  • Applied experience developing predictive analysis using R or Python

  • Experience crafting visualizations in Power BI (or other data visualization tool)

  • Proficiency in SQL to prepare data for analysis
