Position Highlights:

Position Summary:

Assess and cares for preterm, laboring, and post-partum obstetrical patients and newborn patients.

Identifies and provides appropriate interventions to mothers with preterm, laboring, or post-partum complications.

Identifies the neonate at risk for complications and provides appropriate care.

Education/Experience:

Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Prefer 1 year experience within the last 3 years in an acute care setting, recent labor and delivery experience, or 1-2 years Medical/Surgical experience.

Licensure/Certification:

Must be eligible for or licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State or South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of the multi-state licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification of completion within 1 year of employment.

PALS and ACLS desired.

S.T.A.B.L.E is required by 2 years of employment in the Women's Center.
