RVP - Content Sales (United States)

We are seeking a Regional Vice President for Cornerstone OnDemand’s Content Sales team focused on managing a team of sales executives that will structure Modern Learning Solutions for clients and are delivered through CSOD’s Holistic Learning Platform. The role will provide leadership and support to ensure the growth of our business through selling Cornerstone’s Content Anytime Subscriptions to the market.

Cornerstone offers a unique service to clients through our Content Services team. The Content Services team of experts will consult with clients/prospects on their learning strategy to help identify the best content providers and corresponding libraries to support and extend their business objectives. Cornerstone has selected and partnered with the leading modern learning content providers from across the globe to bring our clients a variety unique and exclusive learning subscriptions.

In this role, you will…

  • Excel in Talent attraction; assessment and development of sales team – unwavering focus on developing successful salespeople
  • Have active involvement in setting strategy/direction for the team
  • Oversee daily/weekly management of activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Build and maintain an accurate and robust sales forecast
  • Foster a learning culture on the team. Learn from each other. Learn from our prospects and clients and proactively provide feedback to Product, Marketing and Content Experience Partners/Operations
  • Partner successfully with other Cornerstone Sales Teams
  • Drive sales activities in the territory consistent with best practices; build consensus
  • Coordinate and manage weekly and monthly one on one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best practice sharing
  • Maintain a high standard of client support and interactions as evidenced through consistent customer satisfaction
  • Understand broader solutions offerings and identify broader opportunities by involving the right resources
  • Successfully drive results to achieve quota targets
  • Maintain a high standard of client support and interactions as evidenced through consistent customer satisfaction

You’ve got what it takes if you have…

  • 8+years business services and/or software sales experience, successfully selling solutions or services into HR/L&D/Legal or other related field
  • 3+ years leading successful technology, HR resources, ITM or HCM sales teams to above-quota performance
  • Experience managing remote teams preferred
  • Experience selling HR-related software or services/Learning providers
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to deal with senior executives on complex business issues
  • Ability to independently handle many complex projects with an attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional critical thinking skills, problem solving skills and emotional maturity
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills required for client and internal interactions
