We are searching for a Strategic Accounts Sales Representative to join our team.
The Strategic Accounts Sales Representative is a field-based sales role, responsible for growing existing hospital client relationships in a defined, US-based territory. Core functions include: execute meetings with stakeholders to drive value, secure renewals, grow revenue through both price increases and application upsells, provide ongoing training and support to maximize usage, and communicate and facilitate training on new product enhancements.
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Foster and enhance strong customer relationships by identifying and supporting all stakeholders in current customer accounts
Identify stakeholders' needs and objectives and effectively match them to the value of our solutions
Identify, support and successfully execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities for CDI solutions
Develop and execute strong product knowledge of all CDI applications sold in the hospital market
Coordinate with other Clinical Sales colleagues on implementation and training of customers
Monitor, analyze and leverage usage activity to ensure the customer realizes the full value of our services
Develop, schedule and execute web-based and onsite meetings in support of sales and customer relationships
Meet and exceed all defined revenue targets
Document all sales activities and customer communications in the CRM system.
Build and manage an effective revenue pipeline within the CRM
Prepare accurate and timely activity, business plans and forecast reports, defining strategy and tactics for achieving sales goals
Assist and communicate effectively with all departments supporting the sales process
Comply with established sales policies, pricing guidelines, and best practices
Attend assigned conferences and tradeshows to promote product visibility and generate leads
Achieve the highest standards of integrity and respect for co-workers and customers
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by manager
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of sales experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience preferably in healthcare or IT related sales with a track record of success in building relationships and presenting to high level decision makers.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Strong computer skills (Internet, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM Programs)
Experience demonstrating and selling sophisticated and complex products/technologies
Strong telephone, presentation and written communication skills
Valid US driver's license and ability to manage overnight travel up to 40% in territory
Travel Requirements: Travel to an assigned territory in the US to meet with hospital customers. This position requires approximately 40% overnight travel.
