NTG Healthcare Services is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse who is seeking a placement at LTC, SNF, Hospital and/or Home Health. We are looking for a motivated and energetic LPN to join our team. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educate patients and the public about various health conditions. LPNs are also responsible for passing medications and providing treatments while being supervised by an RN.
Job Description
Position: Urgent Care Clinic LPN
Location: Rapid City, SD 57709
Initial Contract: 13
Shift: Varied Shifts between 6:45 AM - 7: 30 PM
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
GROSS pay per week: $1400
Requirements of LPN
Must have at least 2 years of Urgent Care/Clinic LPN experience
Must have experience with Hospice
Experience in EMR
Active Applicable State Licensure
American Heart Association issued BLS
NOTE: Must feel strongly competent to preform the following: Nursing intake/assessment, triage skills, caring for patients of all ages, procedure set up and assistance(abscesses/I&D, fractures, laceration repair, burns, splinting/casting etc.), medication and immunization administration (Intravenous, Oral, Intramuscular, Subcutaneous, Intradermal), wound care, phlebotomy skills, POC testing (Influenza, Mono, Urine HCG, UA dip, Strep, H Pylori), Urinary catheter placement, intravenous therapy/ Alaris IV pump, Basic ECG interpretation. In summary, must be fully competent to care for presenting complaints of strep and influenza to carrying out the protocol for a walk in chest pain, stroke/TIA and prepare patient for transport.
