Carpenter Job DescriptionJob Summary:At Scull Construction, a carpenter is responsible for building, installing, designing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using different materials, including wood, plastic, metal, and other materials. The position's skill set is always increasing by working with an exceptional team that prides itself on doing some of the finest and most challenging projects in this region. Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneDuties and Responsibilities:Frame walls, sheet floor, roofs, layout walls, joists, trusses, stairs, set casework, install accessories, install windows, set door jams, install hardware, and set and strip forms.Follow and understand blueprints and building plans to meet client needsBe knowledgeable in the use of transitAble to be trained to run a gas saw, Bobcat, and forkliftBe dependable to your team: You work as a team and progress as a teamRequired Skills/Abilities:Willingness to learn and master new tasks, duties, and responsibilitiesPay attention to job details to provide an acceptable uniform productIdentify and communicate any job site hazardsSafely and correctly operate all equipment and manual/power tools.
