JOB DESCRIPTIONAccount Executives are responsible for maintaining and growing existing client relationships as well as generating new business leads and developing contacts that result in successful client relationships.Account Executives mustbe able to advise clients about multi-media marketing campaigns. They must understand the inner workings of a fast-paced, creative agency and must be able to communicate that energy to prospective clients. Specialized marketing experience, such as research knowledge or account service experience, is a plus. Experience on the client-side is also of value. The ability to work and play well with others is vital.REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:Reports to VP of Account ServiceREQUIREMENTS: A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with course work in business or marketing subjects.At least five years of business to business sales. Agency experience preferred.Must be organized and able to manage time effectively.RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop strategic marketing plans for clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the Account Executive is responsible for carrying the plan out on a daily basis.Manage and maintain regular communication with agency clients.Cultivate additional marketing opportunities for current and past clients.Present creative work with confidence and enthusiasm.Interfaces with the various departments of the agency to move projects and campaigns through the agency on behalf of the client.This includes meeting with:the creative director(s) concerning creative matters and input, the media director/buyer concerning media plans and schedules,the interactive team concerning projects and online media,the production manager concerning estimates, scheduling and timingAssure client satisfaction concerning sales of advertising services by following up with clients during and after services are rendered.
