Seniorlink/Caregiver Homes Associate Care Advisor in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
The Associate Care Advisor provides superior customer service to help manage and maintain referrals for Seniorlink’s structured family caregiving programs. As part of the Care Advisory Unit, this individual responds to telephonic and digital leads, identifying potential eligibility of caregivers and care recipients interested in Seniorlink’s programs. The Associate Care Advisor provides customer service to current and potential caregivers, assisting with resource referral and the application process.
Prescreen and assess caregivers and care recipients for financial and clinical eligibility
Provide program information to caregivers and care recipients along with information and resources as appropriate via phone and digital technology
Maintain internal service level agreements for response time while maintaining a high level of customer service and quality
Actively listen while displaying empathy and respect to identify and meet caregiver needs; ensure referrals are distributed to care advisors in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain ongoing contact/relationships with caregivers and care recipients as needed, assisting with various aspects of eligibility and credentialing processes
Establish and maintain expertise in the requirements and benefits of structured family caregiving programs in all states Seniorlink operates in
Perform other duties as assigned
Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
1-2 years of experience in human services, healthcare or related business environment;
Superior customer service skills with proven ability to quickly gain confidence and trust
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology required; experience with care management systems is a big plus
Must live in one of the following states: IN, GA, MA, OH, RI, LA, SD, CT
