Your Opportunity

The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Administrative Support Specalists performs administrative, transactional and project work, along with other regular office duties in connection with Purchasing, Human Resources, Transportation and/or Accounting Departments. Will provide support to leadership, office staff, and other internal and external customers. Will maintain excellent customer service to operations, management and customers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support division and site safety, quality, productivity, environmental and cost reduction goals

  • Provide administrative support to the division

  • Assist department managers with projects as needed

  • Order supplies for the division

  • Answers telephone in a professional and courteous manner, route calls to appropriate individual.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Strong computer literacy including: proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook; minimum accurate typing speed of 50 WPM; and intermediate level 10-Key skills.

  • AS400 and SAP software experience ideal.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize daily work assignments, meet deadlines and manage time wisely.

  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respond appropriately to sensitive situations and/or information.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with a diverse workforce, employees at all levels of the business, and outside business representatives.
