CE proudly distributes the Carrier, Bryant and Payne brands of HVAC equipment in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Latin America. Additionally, CE has a full line of aftermarket parts, supplies and accessories. The Comfort Products region of Carrier Enterprise currently has a Branch Manager position available in Sioux Falls, SD. SUMMARY The Branch Manager is a sales leader responsible for the day-to-day operations conducted at our location. This individual presents a demonstrated ability to thrive and lead in a team-oriented and customer-centric environment. Strong computer skills are essential, as well as effective communication and interpersonal ability. The Branch Manager is ultimately responsible for growing sales and profitability at his/her branch. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned. Manage daily store operations and achieve established sales and profitability goals as prescribed by Regional leadership. and maintain a safe work environment.Ensure direct reports follow all safety rules and procedures and are properly trained to conduct their job in the safest manner. Implement and maintain the highest level of customer service in the industry. Work directly with local sales teams to develop strategies for increased traffic in the store, as well as conduits for useful feedback from dealers regarding customer service efforts. Recruit, hire, train, enrich and performance manage all direct reports within the framework of company policy.Manage and mentor all direct reports. Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure all company assets are protected from theft or damage. Effective communication and interpersonal ability, integrity and a well-developed sense of personal accountability are a must. Assign employees to other duties as required including organizing shelves and displays of merchandise, cleaning areas to enhance sales/access to products.Assist when necessary. Full compliance with SOX key controls. Additional responsibilities include: Cost Control, Business Strategy, New Business Development, Staff Development, AsManagement, Marketing Strategy, and Technical Support. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work with the purchasing department to maintain proper parts and supplies inventory. Effective decision making and problem solving skills. Well organized with excellent time management skills and have a high attention to detail. Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data. Ability to work well in a fast-paced retail store environment Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Good interpersonal communication skills. Heightened focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to always maintain a professional and pleasant demeanor. Must be sales driven with ability to lead and motivate sales and operational staff. Knowledge of HVAC industry, products and solutions a plus. Prior forklift, warehousing experience desirable. EDUCATION: High School diploma required. College degree strongly preferred.
