Aerotek Cable Assembly in Sioux Falls, South Dakota


Build cable assemblies using hand tools and fixtures. Tasks include terminating, splicing, and soldering of wires.

Verify standards are correct and product meets required specifications according to blueprints or process instructions.

May package products as necessary.

Inspect assemblies for defects during various stages of production.

Perform tests as required on cable assemblies.

Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow established safety and ergonomic standards.

New team members will complete multiple training courses in order to provide them an opportunity to be successful in their respective work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

They are open to any experience as long as person wants to be in production and has a positive personality.

Pass testing in our office (reading, math, number recognition, color blind).

Prior to starting we MUST ask them:

  1. If an employer had a mask wearing policy – would you abide by it?

  2. In your recent jobs have your employers had COVID protocols (i.e. daily screening processes, mask, social distancing, etc). and if so how did you respond to those protocols?

  3. If you are asked to stay home because you are symptomatic – what does that mean for you? Will you abide with that employer request?

Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision. They will be expected to work as a team.

Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.

Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, and press equipment.

Basic computer skills necessary.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

They need to follow directions very strictly (quality minded)

May be asked to train and work in different areas so need to be open to learning new things and motivated to do so.

New Team Members will have hands on assistance as they learn.

MUST have good attendance
