What does an extraordinary Client Technical Support Rep do?

You will provide clients with quality technical support for Bank Solutions New Accounts product lines. This role gives you the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and be inspired to creatively solve problems. You will be involved in systems evaluation, application-level troubleshooting, product-level consulting and software installation.

Essential job responsibilities:

  • Handle client calls, issues and questions via phone, email or case. Research and problem-solve to figure out resolutions to reported problems. Track, organize and document all support related activities.

  • Train clients on the features and operation of Fiserv’s new accounts application, Business Process Manager, enabling them to successfully use the product and achieve their business objectives.

  • Test software based on client questions and problems internally.

  • Deliver professional and timely client communications regarding project updates, ongoing support items and software improvements and corrections.

  • Develop a full understanding of what Fiserv has to offer while staying well-informed of relevant industry trends and standard methodologies.

  • Build and maintain a high-level of client satisfaction

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting or Business is helpful. Equivalent work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing customer support in Banking/Financial Services industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Database experience (Microsoft SQL)

  • Working knowledge of new account functions in the financial services industry. This should include, but not limited to, bank workflows for customer service, interoffice tasks, change of address, check ordering and risk assessment.

  • Knowledge of FISERV products and systems very advantageous.
