Great Western Bank Digital Product Specialist in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

General Description and Essential Functions

Responsible for supporting Digital products and services through implementations of new software, issue resolution and managing enhancement requests. Responsible for the delivery of digital software releases including coordinating test plans, performing banker training and collaborating with Marketing on external customer communication. Coordinate and prioritize project tasks, manage timelines, maintain project plans and communicate status to senior management. Partner with external vendors on system integrations and internal IT and Development teams to draft technical requirements.

  • Assist with the new product development and product enhancements by drafting test scripts, leading product testing efforts, conducting training sessions and managing issue resolutions.

  • Collaborate with internal Operations and Information Technology partners to troubleshoot digital product issues and implement opportunities for automation.

  • Monitor digital banking user reviews and social media feedback and compile monthly Digital Dashboard & KPI reporting.

  • Work directly with GWB communication and training teams to provide information on product updates, procedural changes and upcoming promotions.

  • Responsible for vendor management operations such as budgeting, reviewing SLAs and annual vendor risk reviews.

  • Analyze industry trends and competitive research to stay current with product knowledge and identity new business strategy opportunities.

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on retail and small business digital banking applications.

  • Perform voice of the customer work, gathering product feedback directly from customers and from Retail bankers.

Qualifications/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related area preferred.

  • 3-5 years of banking and/or financial services experience.

  • A solid understanding of Digital banking products and a working knowledge of retail and small business banking.

  • Experience with managing daily product performance and Web-development is a plus.

  • Self-starter with strong initiative and drive to complete tasks quickly, independently and efficiently with attention to detail and quality.

  • Advanced written and verbal communication experience with a demonstrated proficiency in meeting management and group process facilitation skills.
