The HR Generalist reports to Director, Human Resources Business Partner and is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level working closely with the enterprise HR team and divisional business leaders/managers. This HR Generalist will work on a variety of programs/projects in areas including employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, management and professional training, change management and employee engagement.

Essential Functions

  • Work closely with HR team members to execute on the Paradigm People Plan

  • Advise managers and employees on HR programs and employee lifecycle processes such as hiring, onboarding, mid-year/EOY calibrations and reviews, rewards, career development, promotions and exits/terminations.

  • Advise managers and employees on application of company policies

  • Assist (as needed) with manager transactions in HR Systems; work with payroll to ensure timely and accurate employee changes and escalate as needed.

  • Conduct employee and manager related investigations and recommend resolution course of actions

  • Conduct exit interviews and report findings to improve working conditions.

  • Execute reduction-in-workforce actions (if needed)

  • Perform other duties and special projects as required to support the business Responsible for complying with Paradigm IT security requirement and policies.

  • Responsible for safeguarding Paradigm or Paradigm related IT passwords.

  • Responsible for notifying Paradigm of any IT security incidents per policy 16.0 Information Security Incident Management.



  • HR Expertise – employee relations investigations and resolution practices, performance management, labor law

  • Knowledge of human resources software and database

  • General business computer skills

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

  • 3+ years of HR experience

  • Employee relations experience required

  • Project management experience strongly desired
