Position Summary
The HVAC Foreman will work on commercial installation projects by directing the work of apprentices and journeyman, installing sheet metal ducts, spiral ducts, roof top units and other HVAC equipment. Must be organized with the ability to make good decisions. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Reads and interprets drawings, design models, sketches, and project specifications to determine sequence methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing products, materials, and equipment required to complete project.
Sets RTUs, Curbs, Splits Systems and Equipment.
Installs kitchen hoods and equipment.
Installs TDC, S&D, Black Iron, and Stainless Duct.
Communicates and works with fabrication shop personnel to ensure timely fabrication and delivery of fabricated material for each job.
Complies with all company policies and procedures.
Directly supervises 1 – 8 employees.
Maintain professional relationship with customers, coworkers, and subcontractors.
Travels outside area and works overtime as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
Good oral and written communication skills.
Professional appearance.
Ability to lead people to accomplish tasks.
Valid drivers license and good driving record.
Education and Experience
Minimum 6 years HVAC/Foreman experience
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated skills and knowledge of the trade.
Supervisory skills.
Understanding of materials and tools used in the industry.
Physical Requirements
- Perform physical activity that requires considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting (up to 100 pounds), balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials and equipment.
