Job requirements will vary depending on Company, IE department, and plant demands.Work cross functionally between departments of a production facility to understand departmental functions and improvement gaps.Receive hands on experience applying Industrial Engineering tools and knowledge in a production facility. Apply Industrial Engineering tools and knowledge in areas to include Project management, Waste reduction, Non-essential non-value added activity identification and elimination.Become familiar with and conduct labor and yield studies.Participate in Bill of Material analysis in relation to product costing and cost savings opportunities.Work with and through management to develop and implement actions that protect company assets and profitability.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
