Aerotek Outbound Customer Service Rep in Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Will be making outbound phone calls obtaining quotes from dealerships and independent parties to confirm and verify the price that they are willing to sell the vehicle for.
Will generate and be given leads to make the outbound phone calls.
Talk to repair shop owners from a variety of areas in the U.S. to obtain quotes.
Must be comfortable making outbound calls asking for quotes.
Using trial and error can be successful considering the variety of personalities you will come across from the different markets you call.
If they have high productivity, fit into the culture well, and have good attendance they could move into a Vehicle Valuator role which is a contract to hire and will do the job duties listed below.
Help to determine the value of vehicles that are not instant in the software system.
Will determine which comparables we can use that are already in our database (comparing year, trim, mileage, or vehicle within 100-250 miles)
If there is not a sufficient amount of comparables to utilize, they will research on the internet for additional comparables in that particular market area.
Once they identify additional comparables, they will make outbound calls to either the dealership or individual who is personally trying to sell their vehicle to see what they are willing to sell it for (typically less than 25% of the job).
Can require a bit of negotiation, as they will leverage the data that they have at their fingertips in the database on the conversation over the phone.
Once they have sufficient data, they will make a recommendation for the present market value to the insurance adjuster and submit the valuation report via email.
There is not much communication with the adjuster in this role, but occasionally they may need to call the adjuster to authorize an expansion if necessary.
