Aerotek Panel Designer in SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota


This opportunity is with a rapidly growing local company that sells and services electric controls, electrical motors, and power transmission products. They have 7 offices between SD, ND, IA, and NE. Sioux Falls is their Corporate HQ. They have their own custom fabrication shop, so these products and designs will be entirely custom made & serviced in-house.

This position is for a Panel Designer to add to their growing team. The ideal person would have experience with ePlan, which is the software they use. They will also have the ability to communicate with customers, clients, or vendors along with internal team members including the production staff. This ensures the process is being completed per the customers' specifications.

Other duties will include providing quotes, designing custom industrial control panels, and aiding in the supervision of the final construction of the panel. The designer will fully design and provide wiring schematics, layout drawings, and a Bill of Material (BOM).

Top Skills Details:

2+ years of professional experience in a Design role working in a production/manufacturing environment.

ePlan software preferred but other versions are acceptable.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

At least a 2-year technical degree but 4-year degreed Electrical Engineers do well also.
