The Senior Business Development Partner works closely with the executive, administrative and operational leadership within Sanford in a variety of areas. These areas of focus include Sanford Health Plan and Great Plains Medicare Advantage. Responsible for new business development and engagement of health care providers and other internal and external key stakeholders
Works with department leaders to design and implement strategies related to communication and engagement of new stakeholders and managing existing relationships.
Achieves and maintains superior and up-to-date knowledge on subject matter and effectively educates and engages healthcare professionals.
Functions independently with a high degree of proficiency to drive performance.
Obtains feedback from our current stakeholders regarding opportunities, needs, barriers and gaps in our current program offerings and education.
Creates and maintains database of prospecting activities including phone calls, in person or Skype presentations and follow-up activities. Documents activities, pipeline, referrals and forecast in client relationship database.
Reports on activities and other opportunities to create new business ideas and strategies
Within the Clinical research and Sanford Imagenetics departments, will be required to work cross-functionally with leaders within the organization's executive, marketing, pharmacy, contracting care/utilization management, and finance teams among others in the development projects to production.

Master’s of Science (MS) or Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Will consider candidates with bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Degree emphasis can include but is not limited to, business management, accounting, finance, healthcare administration or laboratory science.
Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, and/or healthcare operations (e.g. skilled nursing facility, assisted living, clinic, hospital etc...) required.
Background in business development required, and a proven ability to build and execute strategies for reaching new customers.
