JOB SUMMARY

Senior Project Manager coordinates and oversees the development, organization, direction, and execution of projects. Performs all functions with minimal supervision while independently assuming responsibility for project management; creating, managing and updating timelines, budges, resources, vendors, and key project deliverables from project initiation to close out.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages multiple high-risk, high-cost projects involving multiple stakeholders. Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors significant projects. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Identifies risks and vulnerabilities; creates contingency plans. Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans. Documents project meetings, particularly status reports on deliverables and next steps. Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Conducts regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients. Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials. Achieves influence and impact even when holding a position contrary to the majority.

QUALIFICATIONS

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent advanced training in project management required. . Bachelor's degree required. Five years' experience managing full lifecycle projects desired. Previous experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment required. Advanced working knowledge with project management software and Microsoft Office required.
