Fiserv Solution Specialist - Gift Solutions in Sioux Falls, South Dakota

Position Description

What makes a fantastic Solutions Specialist – Gift Solutions?

Fiserv’s Gift Solutions is looking for an energetic, dynamic and result oriented person who thrives in a competitive selling marketplace and can achieve aggressive company sales goals. The candidate will have direct accountability for sales results and activities within an assigned territory and or industry vertical. The Solutions Specialist must be highly motivated and self-driven, requiring minimal supervision while at the same time collaborating successfully in a consultative sales team approach.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Identify opportunities and activities to grow Gift Solutions B2B growth initiatives.

  • Expand Gift Solution content portfolio with direct brand relationships.

  • Expand Gift Solution distribution partner portfolio with direct relationships.

  • Maximize revenue by negotiating market competitive discounts. Provide feedback on ways to improve processes and products

  • Responsible for new C-level account development with large complex customers with longer sales cycle.

  • Provides digital product consulting, presentations, etc. directly to prospects in the gift solution space.

  • Aligns with assigned net new Fiserv sales resources to provide expertise and support through proformas, models, pricing, sales strategy for digital product opportunities.

  • Develops client solutions to market challenges.

  • Breaks down barriers internally and with clients when necessary to assure gift solution product sales efforts achieve optimum new client and revenue results.

  • Serve as the face of Gift Solutions at conferences, industry events, associations and meetings.

  • Prospects and qualifies new sales opportunities in assigned territories.

Qualifications for consideration:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles across multiple verticals with successful demonstrated performance against quota for multiple years

  • Possess a fundamental understanding of solution selling. Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at a very senior level with clients gaining trusted advisor status

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • Industry related work experience in retail, gift card, pre-paid or transaction processing related products.

  • Experience in sales to large accounts.

  • Ability to travel 30-50%

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years sales related experience preferred, or equivalent military experience.
