Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Work collaboratively with organization leadership, enhancing knowledge and skills and improving the delivery of quality healthcare. Assist in the completion of projects and administrative duties while developing skills related to the assigned function and/or location. Attend training and development opportunities, learning about various processes and functions within the organization.


Collaborates with departmental associates and management. Researches business related data and generates and interprets basic analytics. Demonstrates a basic understanding of organizational project management practices and tools. Demonstrates the ability to speak, write and present clearly. Delivers formal and informal stand-up presentations or demos to audiences of all kinds. Identifies tasks or outputs that require accuracy and detail-level attention. Demonstrates an expectation that there will be ongoing shifts in demands and priorities. Demonstrates the ability to respond to change. Describes opportunities for taking initiative in the organization. Demonstrates an ability to meet own responsibilities.


The applicant will be working on the IT Vendor and Asset Management (VAM) team as part of Sanford Health's Information Technology (IT) department. The applicant will be focused on the contract life-cycle and procurement processes as well as an integral part in defining and implementing the next iteration of these processes. The applicant will interact with Sanford Health's contracting team, legal team, service management team, accounts payable team, and IT leaders.

Applicant will work directly with IT Vendor and Asset Management manager.

Applicant will be involved with implementing a new software application and other integration components.

Applicant will be performing repeatable day-to-day activities to fulfill contract life-cycle and procurement requests.

Applicant will be involved with defining and implementing new processes while refining current processes.

Applicant will be supporting and/or leading training of contract life-cycle and procurement processes for IT leaders.

Applicant must have excellent customer service skills and the mindset that the customer is their #1 focus.

Applicant must have strong communication and documentation skills.

Applicant should have an interest in influencing others in following standardized processes.

Applicant should have an interest in process improvement and have the ability to dream of what could be.

Applicant should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of healthcare industry preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
