JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for and provide day-to-day supervision of the human resources (HR) enabling technologies team, focusing on areas within application and technology support as designated.

Ensure the team is able to anticipate and assess data gathering, documentation, data validation, and testing. Delegate to staff based on specialty and skill set.

Demonstrate serving as a role model, and encouraging vision and change projects. Understand the critical components associated and required to achieve intended results and ability to assist in hiring, selection, retaining, and leveraging talent across the unit. Supervise day-to-day operations while serving as a resource for escalated and complex issues related to HR systems.

Collaborate and provide feedback in measuring employee performance. Assist in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members. Practice positive collaboration and convert difficult interactions into productive ones.

Knowledge of quality management methods, tools, and techniques and ability to create and support an environment that meets the quality goals of the organization. Assist in data monitoring, reports and improvements.

Establish and set a high quality standard to ensure continual process improvement. Consistently provide technical guidance to others in the use of new technologies, theories, concepts, and techniques. Advanced knowledge; consistently serves as technical adviser to management.

Participate in budgetary responsibilities including resource planning, forecasting, and ongoing financial management of approved budget. Works with leadership to support the development of department strategies and operational objectives. Encourage support of staff with department objectives and strategies for specialized and designated technologies.

Assist with other projects or work assignments as needed by organization, department, or leadership.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with integrating software into the customer or partner framework and infrastructure. Sets scheduling guidelines, dependent on different working environments. May assist with providing feedback in the collection and preparation of required budget information. Leverages prior experience as a help towards handling changing situations. Implements methods for people to come together on the fly to make decisions, solve problems, and develop products/services. Develops departmental operations best practices to ensure an effective and smooth workflow. Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan. Delivers written and oral communication, responds to questions and concerns, and produce specific outcomes and impact. Contributes to standard practices for problem-solving approaches, tools, and processes. Advises others on how to select appropriate HR systems for different HR projects or tasks. Advises on advanced data gathering and analysis methodologies and technologies.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, education, computer science or related discipline required.

Two years of experience in implementing and supporting technology systems with experience in human resources and learning systems preferred. Experience in the development and implementation of human resources/learning technology.

Two years previous experience in an HRIS department. Demonstrated experience with analyzing business requirements and technical specifications. Actively involved in system integrations and user acceptance testing.

Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industry preferred. Experience in project management helpful. Previous leadership experience also beneficial.
