Perform Telecom Service transactions for business and residential customers relating to Local Number Portability. Review and process Lifeline applications in compliance with
Process and record all customer telecom transactions accurately in compliance with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), telephony vendors, internal departmental policiesand procedures.
Submit Local Number Portability orders to multiple telephony vendors.
Coordinate installs, repairs, and other necessary transactions with telephony vendors as necessary.
Initiate customer contact for verification purposes as necessary.
Review and process Lifeline applications in compliance with FCC requirements.
Serve as Midco’s liaison with external vendors to successfully resolve service issues.
Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
Adhere to Midco’s privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.
Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
Be willing to work on special projects as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required.
One year of telecommunication experience preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.
The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business.
