Operator - Spearfish 2nd Shift

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Finessing, sanding, reworking and other various duties in the liquid paint department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

¨ Rack and un-rack parts for painting.

¨ Clean paint racks as needed.

¨ Finessing, sanding, and pin striping of plastic and metal parts.

¨ Appropriate cleaning of tools and equipment.

¨ Attention to detail and quality.

¨ Working in the paint system (blowoff/tack).

¨ Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

¨ High School Diploma or GED required.

¨ Previous paint prep experience desired.

¨ Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

¨ Good housekeeping and organizational skills.

¨ Good communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Working with hazardous materials and chemicals.

· Working in confined spaces.

· Will be required to wear the proper safety equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
