It also requires the minimum of a high school education or GED equivalency, however, a higher level of education in Business Administration, Biology or a related field is preferred.i This position requires a good command of the English language in both verbal and written as the position requires filling out official documents and interacting with USDA and supervisors. Knowledge of Microsoft office systems (Word, Excel, etc. and electronic mail is required.)i Must be able to maintain the integrity of confidential information.iTravel:i This position may require travel to other processing facilities and to attend off-site training. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and must complete tasks in a timely manner.iResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:ii 1.iiiii Uses interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence others to achieve objectives. Interacts with all levels of management, staff and hourly employees to review issues specific to quality assurance.i 2.iiiiii Coordinates and administers record keeping and compliance for various legislated and Company programs which include and are not limited to: Food safety, HACCP other governmental regulations, assist in optimizing department and company efficiency.ii 3.iiiii Seeks guidance and advice from the Quality Assurance Manager to resolve food and safety issues.
